Club Story
How SPARC started and where it's going
SPARC was founded in 2025 by a group of students passionate about AI and machine learning. We started with a small group of members and have since grown into a vibrant community of many students from various majors.
Formerly Computational Science and Mathematics (CSMA), we rebranded to SPARC in 2026 to better reflect our focus on AI research and projects. Our vision is to continue expanding our community, fostering collaboration, and making a meaningful impact on campus and beyond through our work in AI.
